The Verticals at Davenport

Davenport guests love wine, and so do we. It’s why we have a stacked cellar, a James Beard nomination, and a large and ever-changing wine list.

We’re absolutely thrilled to be hosting a dinner with Caveau Selections featuring three incredible winemakers and their vertical Burgundy flights.

What is a vertical flight?

A vertical flight features multiple vintages of one wine from a single producer. It allows you to truly explore the approach of the winery and defining terroir of the region, separate from weather events and other variables from year to year.

What to expect from the event

We’re honored to have three winemakers in our dining room, each sharing a vertical flight of their premier cru Burgundy wines.

  • Thiebault Huber: Volnay Clos des Chênes 1er Cru (2015, 2019, 2022)

  • Vincent Chevrot: Maranges Fussières 1er Cru (2012, 2017, 2020)

  • Odilon Marchand: Beaune Tuvilains 1er Cru (2021, 2022, 2023)

You can’t drink all that wine without something to eat! Chef Kevin Gibson will be doing what he does best: building a divine menu that features the best of local farms and ranches to pair perfectly with a Burgundy dinner.

For $375, you’ll receive:
